Peter Latham elected Chairman of the PEFC International Board

Chairman of James Latham Plc, Peter Latham, has been elected as the new Chairman of the PEFC International Board, at the PEFC General Assembly held recently in Bali, Indonesia.



As well as being Chairman of one of Britain’s oldest timber companies, he is a former Chairman of the Forests Forever Committee of the Timber Trade Federation and member of the Council of Commonwealth Forestry Association.

Alongside Peter, three Board members, including Natalie Hufnagl-Jovy as Vice Chair, were re-elected and the PEFC also welcomed three new members onto the Board.

PEFC, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.
