Siempelkamp constructs new logistics and service center in Bad Kreuznach, Germany

Siempelkamp has started the construction of the new logistics and service center in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Siempelkamp Logistics & Service GmbH (SLS) in Bad Kreuznach celebrated the groundbreaking of the new logistics building which will, after completion of the first construction phase, provide storage space of approximately 7,000 m². With the new milestone Siempelkamp established the necessary foundation to further develop the standards of quality during the implementation of the uncompromising service concept.

“The new logistics building is of great importance for both, the future skills of SLS and also for our customers which will profit from even better performance,” says the Managing Director of SLS Stefan Wissing.

With the beginning of operations of the new logistics and service center, processes will be optimized, their efficiency increased and operating costs reduced. A significantly higher warehouse stock will ensure a more efficient and quicker parts supply and thus, offer customers the opportunity to significantly reduce their own spare parts stock and to save costs.

Siempelkamp is a system supplier of press lines and complete plants for the wood-based products industry, the metal forming industry and the rubber industry.
