Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2018 was worth Euro 4 million, which is about 24% more than in the previous month, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of wood fuel were higher by about 16%, of pulpwood by almost 89% and of other industrial roundwood by about 73%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in March 2018 was more than 35% lower than in March 2017, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 39%, of wood fuel by almost 17%, of pulpwood by about 13% and of other industrial roundwood by 52%.
