Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2017 was worth Euro 3.2 million, which is 39% less than in the previous month, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 50%, of other industrial roundwood by almost 48% and of wood fuel by almost 10%. On the other hand, the value of purchased pulpwood was about 13% higher.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2017 was about 50% lower than in December 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 59%, of pulpwood by almost 18%, of wood fuel by about 10% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 52%.
