Solenis will increase prices by 10-20% on all wet strength and sizing product lines across the EMEA region, effective immediately. The price increase is necessary due to the significant increase in key raw material costs, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
“We are unable to absorb the impact of the increased costs that we are currently experiencing but we will continue to work in partnership with our customers to help mitigate the increases,” said Jose Santolaya, global product director, Functional Chemicals, Pulp and Paper.
“Solenis remains committed to controlling costs through process improvements to deliver high value, innovative solutions that our customers have come to expect,” said Ludwig Krapsch, vice president EMEA, Pulp and Paper.
Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals for water intensive industries, including the pulp, paper, oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, biorefining, power and municipal markets.
