Valmet to replace automation system at Arjowiggins' Papeterie du Bourray mill in France

Arjowiggins' Papeteries du Bourray graphic papers mill in France has ordered a Valmet DNA distributed control system (DCS) for PM1 to replace an earlier control system that is reaching end-of-life. The new Valmet DNA system will replace an old system from another supplier, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The order is included in Valmet's second quarter 2016 orders received. The value of the order is not disclosed. Typically the order value of this kind of automation system deliveries is below Euro 1 million.

Valmet's delivery includes engineering, installation supervision, training and commissioning. The start-up of the new system scheduled for September 2016.
