The plant will use sawmill waste and has a planned capacity of 70,000 tonnes by 2015. Asia-Les will also install a biofuel cogeneration CHP with electrical capacity of 4.5 MW and thermal capacity of 27 MW.

Asia-Les to build new wood pellet plant in the Khabarovsk region

Sep 17, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Russian-based sawmill company Asia-Les will start production of wood pellets at the facility in the Khabarovsk region, Russia, as BioEnergy reported.

The wood pellets will be delivered by Spanish firm Prodese. The Austrian company Springer is preparing the sawing line, while Swedish Valutec will handle the drying chambers and the management and measurement will be looked after by Italian company MicroTec.
