Domtar Paper Company announced that BRUKS Rockwood was awarded the contract to supply a 70’ Back-on Truck Dumper with 16’ wide Receiving Hopper for handling wood chips. This is Domtar’s third Truck Dump at the Kingsport site. The project scope consists of design and supply of the Back-On Truck Dump and Receiving Hopper, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The Truck Dump Hopper will have a volume of 6,000 Ft3, and will discharge up to 200 TPH. Full scale operations of these facilities began in the late summer of 2015.
