The EBITDA also experienced a significant increase on reaching Euro 30.1 million between January and March of this year, 23.8% more than in the 1Q 2015.

Europac 1Q net profit increased by 136.6% to Euro 10.2 million

May 06, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. The Europac Group (Papeles y Cartones de Europa, SA) recorded 1Q 2016 net profit of Euro 10.2 million, which represents an increase of 136.6% compared to Euro 4.3 million achieved a year ago, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The EBITDA also experienced a significant increase on reaching Euro 30.1 million between January and March of this year, 23.8% more than in the 1Q 2015.

José Miguel Isidro, Executive President of Europac Group, particularly noted that "the management improvements, which have enabled us to obtain significantly better results confirm the positive trend of the past few quarters".

Finally, José Miguel Isidro pointed out that "2016 will be the first full year in which the company will benefit from the financing conditions contained in the new syndicated loan signed in July 2015".
