AS Toftan from Vorumaa, Estonia, invests again in Heinola's high-class chamber kilns. This kiln order is already second from AS Toftan to Heinola within one year, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
These six new chamber kilns type HCHD from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. have annual capacity of ca. 130,000 cubic metres, when drying 25 mm spruce to 14% final moisture content. The drying kilns can be used for drying of pine and spruce timber with thicknesses of 25–75 mm from sawn green timber to the final moisture of 8–18%. The new chamber kilns will be taken into production by the end of year 2017.
