Investlesprom will invest Euro 67 million into Kama pulp & paper plant reconstruction

The Executive Committee of Investlesprom holding approved a reconstruction project of Kama pulp & paper (Perm region, the plant is a part of Investlesprom group), Perm region administration reported. The total amount of investments into plant reconstruction will be Euro 67 million. The project involves N7 paper-making machine reconstruction, thermomechanical mass section reconstruction, a new timber preparatory section construction, as well as slitting-and-rewinding machine and transporting packaging line installation. The renewed production will enable to produce soft coated paper which is still not produced anywhere in Russia. Timber preparatory section construction will start in the autumn of 2008, and production launch is planned in late 2009.
