Kyiv cardboard-and-paper mill to commission second corrugator before January 1, 2007

Kyiv cardboard-and-paper mill (Obukhiv, Kyiv region), one of the country's major manufacturers of cardboard and paper, is going to commission its second corrugator for the manufacture of corrugated board before the end of this year, Ukrainian News reported citing a source in the company. Contract for the manufacture of the second corrugator was awarded to BHS Corrugated (Germany) on April 12. The corrugator's design production capacity is 100 million square meters of corrugated board every year. "This will be a major [production] line, and only few such machines are in Ukraine", he said. The second corrugator would make it possible for the company to raise the output of corrugated board two-fold to 200 million square meters annually.
