Medica Packaging achieves FSC and PEFC certification

Feb 04, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Medica Packaging Ltd has achieved Chain of Custody Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The FSC and PEFC schemes are widely regarded as the leading initiatives in promoting responsible and legal forest management.
Medica’s accreditation validates each step of its supply chain and confirms that Medica has been monitored closely with independent auditing. The Certification enables Medica to provide its customers with full traceability of certified board materials, from the forest through to final carton distribution.

Medica’s QA Manager Tracy Keen said, “We are delighted to have achieved the FSC and PEFC accreditation which confirms Medica as a responsible user of forest resources. An increasing number of our customers require suppliers to have this certification. For our customers to be able to include the FSC or PEFC logos or make any reference to FSC or PEFC on their packs it is essential for us to have the relevant Chain of Custody certification.”

Medica Packaging Limited specialises in the production of high quality printed cartons and leaflets.
