Munksjö's Stenay mill in France received Health and Safety OHSAS 18001:2007 certification

Munksjö's Stenay mill in France has been awarded with OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for their Occupational Health and Safety Management System by SGS accreditation body, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Stenay mill is already certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, respectively for its quality and environmental management systems. This triple management system certification is a good foundation striving for continuous improvement.

“At Munksjö, we are committed to follow the strictest standards in health and safety management for our employees but also customers and stakeholders. By achieving this milestone, Stenay mill has aligned its practices and processes with continuous improvement in line with the Group’s expectations,” comments Rune Årnes, Vice President Health and Safety.

Munksjö has 15 sites, whereof 12 are production sites. 11 of these production sites are now certified according to OHSAS:18001:2007.

Stenay mill employs 205 employees and is part of the Business Area Graphics and Packaging. This production site is specialised in the manufacturing of one-side coated papers for flexible packaging, metallizing, labelling as well as release liners and other papers for industrial applications.
