From now and until the end of 2019, SCA will gradually phase out the name Timber and instead start using Wood as the name of its business area. SCA will also use the Swedish translation Trä in some contexts, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
"Our customers will still meet the same customer contacts at our company and we will provide the same products and services as before. The only difference is that we will now say that we come from SCA and SCA Wood when we introduce ourselves," says Jerry Larsson, CEO of Wood.
Based in Sweden, SCA produces solid-wood products, pulp, kraftliner, publication papers and renewable energy.
