Sappi North America announces 94 bright Opus® Sheet coated paper

Sappi North America has increased the brightness of its Opus Sheet coated paper line to 94 bright, enhancing a versatile brand portfolio prized for its whiteness, shade consistency, stiffness and lower fluorescence, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

"The increased brightness for Opus Sheets demonstrates Sappi's continued commitment to deliver brilliant brand experiences," said Jennifer Miller, executive vice-president of the coated business and chief sustainability officer, Sappi North America. "Opus is the most versatile line of premium coated paper in the market. The brighter Opus is in response to the needs of integrated marketers who want a competitive advantage and who take their brands and their reputation seriously."

By increasing the brightness of Opus Sheets from 92 to 94 bright, Sappi further differentiates its visually distinct coated fine paper offerings, with McCoy papers at 96 bright and Flo Sheet papers at 88 bright.
