In January 2017, U.S. total boxboard production decreased 0.8% when compared to January 2016, but increased 2.2% from last month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month as last year and decreased compared to last month. Total solid bleached boxboard & liner production decreased when compared to January 2016, and decreased compared to last month. The production of recycled boxboard was flat compared to January 2016, and increased when compared to last month.
