Building with wood is an ancient yet still relevant craft. For four generations, the Cemin family has built using this earth-produced material, the largest natural biological factory. Biohabitat was founded in the early 1980s to offer innovative solutions responding to clients' growing demands regarding materials and technologies used in housing construction. Owners Alessandro and Luca Cemin established a company combining traditional experience with modern bio-building design and construction techniques. Customers particularly value Biohabitat's expertise in wood as a construction material, artisanal experience, and the originality and flexibility of its projects. With the launch of a production line for solid wood walls without glue or nails, Biohabitat introduced an innovative product addressing the need for healthy, functional, and ecological living environments. Throughout its activity, Biohabitat has developed increasing environmental awareness and adopted eco-sustainable construction methods. The high degree of prefabrication in the factory significantly reduces CO2 emissions compared to traditional construction sites. Additionally, to protect forest resources, Biohabitat uses only wood from certified forests, replacing each harvested tree with a new one.
