MeadWestvaco Enters into Letter of Intent for its Temporary Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia
Mar 31, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. MeadWestvaco Corporation (NYSE: MWV) has entered into a letter of intent for its headquarters in the Richmond area. The building, WestMark Two, is located at 11013 West Broad Street (US-250) near the Innsbrook office development and is convenient to I-64, I-295 and Route 288. The company selected the 210,000 square foot facility because it can conveniently accommodate all current and future Richmond-area employees, and is easily accessible from major highways.
MeadWestvaco expects to begin transitioning employees to the WestMark Two headquarters building this summer.
The new Richmond area headquarters will integrate key corporate and administrative functions and will include headquarters for the new Packaging Resources Group and Consumer Solutions Group, resulting in an estimated 400 new jobs to the area.
The building is owned by RER/New Boston West Broad Street LLC. The lease was facilitated by Jones Lang LaSalle on behalf of MeadWestvaco, and Thalhimer/Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of RER/New Boston.
