Mead Lumber Company has acquired OHC Supply and Guthrie's Ace Hardware in Guthrie, Oklahoma, from owner Bill VanSant, effective 1 April 2026. The transaction brings the company's total locations to 56 across nine states, including its second and third outlets in Oklahoma, following its first location in Ada acquired in 1995, according to Mead Lumber.

The acquired businesses will retain their current teams, with owner Bill VanSant remaining involved through the transition period. Dave Anderson, President and CEO of Mead Lumber, stated that the acquisition supports continued growth and strengthens service capabilities for contractors in Oklahoma.

Mead Lumber operates as a full-service building materials supplier focused on professional contractors, builders, and remodelers.
