Apr 18, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. China’s second largest manufacturer of newsprint paper, Guangzhou Paper in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, reports ordering a deinking system from Voith Paper. The new DIP line will produce fibre stock from 100 % recovered paper for feeding several machines at the mill.
The order includes a Protector System for the removal of heavyweight contaminants, followed by hole screening with integrated IC slot screening.
LC stock cleaning is provided by EcoMizer technology, followed by flotation deinking. Here Guangzhou has chosen EcoCell flotation cells for both pre- and postflotation, as already successfully operating in several other large deinking lines in China.
MultiScreen pressure screens fitted with C-bar baskets ensure efficient fine screening.
Bagless Thune disc filters thicken up the stock ready for high performance ink detachment and homogenization in DX dispergers with integrated direct heating.
All machines supplied by Voith will be provided with the necessary field instrumentation.
