Canadian Bio Pellet has received a license to produce up to 360 thousand tons of wood pellets in its first year of operation at the proposed facility, as Alternative Energy Retailer magazine informed Lesprom Network. The license will allow for increased production quantities in the coming years, and the company states that its new plant will have the ability to produce 450 thousand tons annually. The plant will need approval from the Ministry of Environment before it can begin operations. According to the company, it has already received 150 job applications; Canadian Bio Pellet expects to create 85 to 110 jobs at the facility.
