Canada's lumber production fell 1% from October with sawmills producing 5 929.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in November 2017. Production was 1.5% lower than in November 2016, as Statistics Canada said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Sawmills shipped 5 656.2 thousand cubic metres of lumber in November, down 3.9% from October and 4.8% lower than in November 2016.
