The team will be speaking with the local planning authorities and other interested stakeholders as part of the commission and working alongside the SCA team, which has already been managing the decommissioning of redundant plant, equipment and buildings.

Aug 29, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. SCA has appointed property company Capita to advise on the potential for its 100 acre former paper mill site at Oughtibridge, Sheffield, England, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Capita, which has previously worked on the successful assessment and sale of a number of former paper mill sites across the UK, will be undertaking a detailed review of the estate which comprises 100 acres of land, c. 350,000 sqft of industrial buildings, and a number of houses.

The team will be speaking with the local planning authorities and other interested stakeholders as part of the commission and working alongside the SCA team, which has already been managing the decommissioning of redundant plant, equipment and buildings.

Paul Oliver, SCA programme manager said: “An important part of the brief we have given to Capita is that, as an ethical company, we want to exit the site responsibly and with consideration for views of the local community and the environment.”
