Central Alabama Wood Products invests $18 million in expanding the size of its sawmill in Coosa County, company announced at its website. The mill won’t create any new direct jobs, however will create 40 new indirect positions. Once the new sawmill is built, the plant will double its capacity. Company plans to increase supply of cross ties for railroad industry.
