Crown Holdings, Inc. announced that Robert H. Bourque, Jr., has been selected to become President of its Transit Packaging Division effective August 1, 2018.
Transit Packaging includes the businesses also known as Signode Industrial Group, which Crown acquired on April 3, 2018. Mr. Bourque will succeed Mark Burgess, who, following a brief transition period, will leave the Company on September 30, 2018. Mr. Bourque will be based at Transit Packaging headquarters in Glenview, Illinoisand will report to Timothy J. Donahue, Crown's President and CEO.
Mr. Bourque is currently President of the Asia Pacific Division, a position he has held since 2016. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility within Crown, including general management, sales, manufacturing and engineering roles both in the United States and Asia Pacific.
