DS Smith Kemsley Mill has introduced the Trimble data analysis system Wedge in its United Kingdom paper mill. The mill has an annual production capacity in excess of 800,000 tonnes and is the second biggest recovered fibre-based paper operation in Europe, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Wedge is fast online process diagnostics system. It enables huge amount of process data from different sources for analysis and diagnosis of the root cause of different disturbances in the process.
Kemsley Mill produces a range of 100% recycled paper grades which are used to make packaging products.
