Graanul Invest receives ISO 50001 energy management certificate for its pellet plants in Estonia

Graanul Invest Group has received the ISO 50001 energy management certificate for all of its Estonian pellet plants’s energy management systems, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The Group’s plants in Latvia already hold the certificate, and together with Estonian plants, there are now 10 plants that have been rewarded this globally recognized certificate.

ISO:50001 certification aims to help organizations make energy consumption more efficient and sustainable, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs.

The energy produced by Graanul Invest Group is fully fossil-free renewable energy. However, also in green energy consumption we are aiming at continuous improvement of sustainability and energy efficiency. Following the certification of energy management system, Group's integrated management system has achieved its logical completeness covering the areas of quality, environment, safety and energy management.
