Green Energy Resources signs wood pellet export orders valued at $28 million

Mar 16, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Green Energy Resources announces the signing of two separate wood pellet export orders to Europe valued at approximately $14 million each. The exports are expected to commence between July and September of this year, as the company informed Lesprom Network. The pellets are being sourced from Texas. Each order represents a volume of approximately 120 thousand tons over a 12-month period. The company noted that the two pellet orders are in addition to 2 woodchip orders already received in 2009. One of the woodchip exports is currently in progress and the other expected to commence in August/ September of this year. Each woodchip shipment represents approximately $2 million dollars in sales or about $25 million per year.
