Wolfgang Augsten has plenty of international experience and knows what counts: "Manufacturers of woodworking machinery can only be successful, if they focus on their customers. Their needs must be the yardstick for all products, developments and services. That sounds easier than it is. In order to meet the requirements of our customers, we need a keen instinct for market trends and have to work closely and effectively together across the areas of development, production and sales. I see strengthening this interaction and establishing the organizational framework for smooth and efficient cooperation as one of the key tasks of management."
Wolfgang Augsten intends to focus on continuous and organic growth. "In the woodworking industry, we hold the position of market leader in panel cutting technology and innovations. It is our intention not simply to maintain this position but to steadily increase our lead," Augsten declares. He sees opportunities for new growth in the non-wood business and in the industrial sector. "Over the next few years, we will extend our range of products in these segments by systematic innovation and investment in new technologies," Augsten announces.
