Hillcore Group has completed the acquisition of Lakeside Pacific Forest Products Ltd. This is part of Hillcore’s forestry investment strategy that includes the consolidation of fiber supply and the creation of added value opportunities and vertical integration, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Hillcore’s Forestry Group now controls significant allowable annual cut and with its current platform is on target to harvest 1.5 million cubic meters by the end of 2021.
