The Homag Group can look back at 2017 as a successful financial year. Preliminary figures show that the Homag Group's incoming orders rose by 17% to Euro 1,366 million (previous year: Euro 1,165 million). Operating EBIT rose by 46% to Euro 94.4 million (previous year: Euro 64.7 million).

Homag Group reports 13% sales increase in 2017

The Homag Group can look back at 2017 as a successful financial year. Preliminary figures show that the Homag Group's incoming orders rose by 17% to Euro 1,366 million (previous year: Euro 1,165 million). Operating EBIT rose by 46% to Euro 94.4 million (previous year: Euro 64.7 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The order backlog was worth Euro 541 million as at December 31, 2017 (December 31, 2016: Euro 414 million), while sales were up 13%, reaching Euro 1,224 million (previous year: Euro 1,082 million).

"In 2017, we were successful in all regions around the world", explains CEO Pekka Paasivaara. "We achieved the strongest growth in China, once again pushing the rate well into the double-digits. In the German market as well as in Northern and Eastern Europe and North America, we also recorded high rates of increase."
