Hubei Baoyuan concluded order for OSB green end with Pallmann
Jul 02, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Hubei Baoyuan Wood Industry plans to install the first large-scale OSB-line in China, Wood Panels Online reported. Pallmann will supply engineering, equipment, electrical control systems and service for the green end of the new OSB-line. Main components are a drum debarker, feeding and conveying equipment to the Pallmann batch feeding system and the Pallmann Long Log Flaker type PZU 22-725. Baoyuan will use mainly Poplar and Pine as well as Kiri as raw material.
Dieffenbacher, Germany has been selected as general supplier for remaining production areas including a CPS continuous press 8' x 30m. Flaking throughput is up to 28 t/h OD for an annual board production of 220,000 cu m. Start-up is scheduled for third quarter 2010.
