Huhtamaki appoints Wouter van Tol as Head of Corporate Responsibility, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
In this new role Wouter will be responsible for the strategic and long term development of corporate responsibility at Huhtamaki. He will further design and drive our global agenda across the four key dimensions of corporate responsibility: environment, people, product safety and supply chain.
Wouter joins Huhtamaki from Samsung Electronics Europe where he has worked as Director of Sustainability and Citizenship for the last three years. In Samsung, he has been responsible for all aspects of corporate responsibility including human rights, environment, supply chain and senior level stakeholder engagement. Wouter also has a strong background in food and consumer goods businesses as he has worked for Nestlé and Procter & Gamble for 14 years.
Huhtamaki is a global specialist in packaging for food and drink.
