Moscow, Feb 17. /Lesprom Network/. In 2008, Belarus increased timber removal by 1.4% to 2.88 million festmeters, as said in the press release of Belstat (Belarussian State Statistic Service) received by Lesprom Network. In December 2008, timber removal decreased by 15.4% down to 199,300 thousand festmeters, cardboard production – by 36.1% down to 14,900 tons.
