KLENK starts up new Holtec log sorting line at Baruth plant in Germany

New Holtec log sorting line at KLENK in Baruth, Germany, successfully commissioned. Only 4 months went between the order and the start of the installation in Baruth, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Holtec supplied a completely new log yard for short logs up to the remaining sorting conveyor. Integral part of the line is a double shaft butt-end-reducer and a crosscut saw for overlength.

The separation system is equipped with the Holtec chain-less conveying system – a double acting step conveyor which can separate and allocate 30 logs/min. Acceleration and dynamical gap optimization are accomplished by V-rollerways. All these units are working completely without chain drives and stand out due to their low operating costs.

Holtec GmbH is an equipment manufacturer for log processing and crosscut systems for lumber packages.
