Koskisen start production at its new sawmill in Russian Vologoda region

Koskisen has started production at its new Koskisilva sawmill in Sheksna settlement of Vologoda region in Russia, announced Economic Department of Vologoda region government. Ground area for building is about 60 hectares. The volume of investments amounted to about Euro 15 million euros. The main products of the sawmill are high-quality birch lumber. The planned production capacity for two-shift operation is 20,000 m3 per year. Koskisilva is part of the Koskisen group, one of the leading Finnish sawmilling companies.
