As part of PM 1 modernіzatsion project Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill plans to replace the existing drying cylinder with a new one, manufactured by Valmet, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The equipment was shipped from the city of Karlstad (Sweden) on August 31, 2016, a month before the scheduled date. Expected delivery time of the drying cylinder with internal bearings and snap is the middle of October 2016. Entering the cylinder is scheduled for the end of October 2016.
Installation of a new Yankee cylinder will increase productivity and significantly improve the quality of the tissue paper made by Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill.
Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is one of the largest enterprises in Europe on cardboard and paper products, is part of the Austrian Pulp Mill Holding.
