Arto Lampinen is appointed Metsä Group’s SVP, Technology as of 3 April 2018. He leads the new Technology group service and reports to the President and CEO Ilkka Hämälä.
Lampinen, who has over 25 years’ experience from UPM in production related management positions, moves to Metsä Group from Empower Group.
Metsä Group is a forerunner in sustainable bioeconomy utilising renewable wood from sustainably managed northern forests. Metsä Group focuses on wood supply and forest services, wood products, pulp, fresh fibre paperboards and tissue and cooking papers.
