Growing order volumes in digital printing have meant that Model AG, Weinfelden, has had to take a close look at its data handling and process reliability in production. The aim of PSD is to produce a high-quality print result that remains consistent throughout the entire process, from data preparation through the print approval stage to the actual proof and any repeat order, and therefore fulfils the client’s requirements, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Process reliability is crucial to meeting these requirements. Model has standardised the entire digital workflow from data entry to the print process in production. The new Fogra Process Standard Digital ensures quality assurance in the production process thanks to clear interface definition and objective tests.

Quality management comprises measures aimed at improving products and processes. To achieve this, economically and technically meaningful target values and tolerances must be observed at all production stages. This is particularly important in digital printing, where the production steps, the materials used, and the output tasks are very varied.
