Plysorol to invest approximately Euro 30 million by 2012

May 07, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. The French plywood manufacturer Plysorol SAS of Lisieux plans to invest approximately Euro 30 million in production and logistics in France and Gabon in the next four years, EUWID wood products and panels reported. According to the company, over half the total sum or roughly Euro 18 million is earmarked for the modernisation and process optimisation of Plysorol's production facilities in France. Around Euro 5 million of this is to be spent on the Lisieux works. Plans have been made to put three joining machines and a sizing unit into operation here as well as to modernise the gluing, veneer grading, and repair stations in the next few years. The company says Euro 7-8 million is to be invested in modernising the gluing section and the veneer-grading station at the Fontenay-de-Comte facility. Modernisation is also planned for the gluing section at the plywood works in Epernay.
