Ponsse’s consolidated net sales for the 1Q 2018 amounted to Euro 142.1 million, which is 9.4% more than in the 1Q 2017, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Net sales were regionally distributed as follows: Northern Europe 41.3%, Central and Southern Europe 20.2%, Russia and Asia 19.5%, North and South America 18% and other countries 1%.
The operating result amounted to Euro 17.1 million, compared to Euro 14.3 million in the 1Q 2017. The operating result equalled 12% of net sales for the period under review. Consolidated return on capital employed (ROCE) stood at 25.3%.
Order intake for the period totalled Euro 192.7 million, while period-end order books were valued at Euro 173.8 million.
