Russian Belozerskles (owned by Cherepovetsles) reported timber production up 42% to 46,1 thousand cub m within 3 months in 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, Cherepovetsles public-affairs told Lesprom.ru. Logs removal increased 31% to 57,5 thousand cub m, cross-cutting – up 42% to 46,1 thousand cub m. Round timber production – up 45% to 38,7 thousand cub m. Sawn timber production was 1,2 thousand cub m. Assortment timber production increased 42%, commodity production sales – up 78%.
