Russian Belozersky reported timber production down 17% in March 2004

Apr 21, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Belozersky reported timber production down 17% to 70,3 thousand cub m in March 2004 (3% above plan), Cherepovetsles public-affairs told Lesprom.ru. Assortment timber production declined 11% to 4,8 thousand cub m. Logs removal declined 13% to 75,6 thousand cub m (1% above plan), cross-cutting increased 18% to 77,3 thousand cub m (18% above plan). Round timber production increased 14% to 61,1 thousand cub m (23% above plan), sawn timber production – up 92% to 7,1 thousand cub m. Commodity production sales increased 44%.
