Russian Cherepovetsles Enterprise Reported Timber Production at 148 thousand cub m in 2004

Feb 04, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Cherepovetsles (Vologda region) increased timber production 9% to 148 thousand cub m (5% above plan) in January 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003. Timber exports increased 20% to 183,3 thousand cub m (16% above plan), Cherepovetsles public affairs told Lesprom.ru. Cross-cutting increased 12% to 151,2 thousand cub m (17% above plan), round timber production - up 11% to 118,6 thousand cub m (19% above plan), sawn timber - up 9% to 5,8 thousand cub m (14% above plan). Commercial production sales were RUR 107,5 million (a8% above plan), up 24% compared with the prior period in 2003. Cherepovetsles increased assortment production 49% to 36,9 thousand cub m (7% above plan).
