May 17, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Vashkinsky timber enterprise (Vologda region, owned by Cherepovetsles) reported logs removal up 6% to 135,9 thousand cub m in January-April 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, Cherepovetsles public-affairs told Lesprom.ru.
Cross-cutting increased 14% to 108 thousand cub m. Round timber production – up 14% to 86,7 thousand cub m, sawn timber – up 14% to 800 cub m.
