Particularly the ever increasing pulp costs but also other rising raw material prices force Sappi to increase its specialities and packaging papers prices as from 1 April 2018. This measure is necessary to mitigate continuing margin erosion, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The increase will be 6% for all uncoated grades and 4% for all coated grades. The price rise will apply to all European and overseas markets.
