Mr Nablo is returning to Sappi after ten years working with paper companies in the US including Fraser Papers, Wedlock Paper Converters and Gorham Paper and Tissue.
He originally joined the company in 1986 and progressed through various sales management roles in printing, release and technical papers, culminating in his final role as Sales Director - America's for release papers from Sappi Westbrook Mill.
The appointment follows the Euro 61 million rebuild of PM2 at Sappi's Alfeld Mill in Germany. This will increase speciality packaging paper production by 135,000 tpa and eventually 100% of Alfeld's mill production will be speciality papers.
