Dirk Homann is the commercial managing director of Pallmann
Maschinenfabrik Zweibrücken GmbH & Co. KG as well as its general partner
GmbH, Ludwig Pallmann Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH. To prevent insolvency of the
Pallmann Group, Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG
acquired a qualified minority in both companies in April 2012 via its wholly
owned subsidiary Siempelkamp Maschinenfabrik Beteiligungs-GmbH. From this point
forward Dirk Homann will take on the new position as commercial managing
director, a position that was, since the acquisition of the minority interest
in both companies, as Siempelkamp said in a press release received by Lesprom
Network.
Homann was previously a member of the Büttner Energie- und
Trocknungstechnik GmbH management team, a wholly-owned Siempelkamp subsidiary. There
he coordinated and was responsible for the project management, the service
department as well as the area of commercial sales for 16 years. During this
time he made significant contributions to the long-term success of the company.
Homann brings extensive experience from previous positions in the wood-based
materials industry as well as from the area of machine and plant engineering
through his employment at Ferrostaal AG, Germany, to his new position. At
Pallmann he has assumed the commer-cial management.
