Posted March 20, 2018
Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in 2017 was worth Euro 57.6 million, which is about 12% less than in 2016 (mainly due to lower quantity of purchased roundwood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 14%, of wood fuel by almost 17% and of pulpwood by about 1%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was more than 6% higher.

Sawlogs and veneer logs represented by far the highest share (81.5%) in the total value of roundwood purchased in 2017; the share of pulpwood was 12.6%, of wood fuel 3.8% and of other industrial roundwood 2%.
